Superintendent's Welcome

Hello Parents and Students,

The summer of 2023 is coming to an end and I am busily preparing for the arrival of staff and students for the upcoming school year.

In my second year as your Superintendent, I plan to continue moving forward with curriculum improvements, supporting the social and emotional well-being of students and staff, improving opportunities for college credit and career exploration for students, and continuing to improve the safety of our buildings.

The staff accomplished much last school year in regards to curriculum. Every class now has a curriculum map available on the teacher's website. A curriculum map shows the skills and concepts that will be experienced by students in that class. I am continually impressed by the teaching staff in all buildings.  We have a great group of teachers here at NCSD!

I am excited for our sports and academic teams this school year.  Northern Cambria is a small rural school but we are powerful in many regards. Our students are amazing and I am so proud of all of their accomplishments - big or small.

We would not be able to accomplish all that we do without our great administrative team.  These ladies work so hard and care so much for your children. I look forward to another great school year.

My door is always open, so please call or email me with any concerns and/or praises for our school and staff.

Partners in Education,
