Welcome to First Grade Literacy Centers with Mrs. Delosh!  Here is an overview of what we will be doing this year!

9:30 - 10:00 I will be working with students in Mrs. Born’s Class

10:00 - 10:30 I will be working with students in Mrs. Kudlawiec’s Class

10:30 - 11:00 I will be working with students in Ms. Dunegan’s Class

Throughout the year in each classroom,  we will be doing a monthly assessment on Imagination Station Reading.  We will look at the data from these  assessments each month and I will be instructing students in the areas in which they may need more personalized instruction.   My goal for this instructional time is to help those students in the areas of reading that they have difficulty in.  I will also be working on the process of writing.  We will be working on many areas of writing (Narrative, Descriptive, Opinion Writing, Persuasive Writing, Informational Writing, and Research writing).  We will learn how to brainstorm, write, edit and publish our writing pieces.
